Following are brief descriptions of the different positions available:
Along with servicing club members and guests, the Management Trainee will learn and implement the process of acquiring new members, develop a base of referrals and follow-up with members whom he/she has enrolled.
Management Trainee
Childcare Attendant
Watches members' children while they work out. Attendants are required to obtain a Sheriff's Childcare card, County Childcare Health card and a TB certificate.
Front Desk Receptionist
Receptionists should have a friendly and outgoing personality and enjoy meeting many new people. They greet members and guests, and the ability to learn names is very welcome. Multi-tasking capabilities are a great advantage, as they assist members at check-in, take payments, as well as answer and distribute all incoming phone calls.
Fitness Instructor
Fitness Instructors design workout programs for new and existing members while also helping to maintain the atmosphere and cleanliness of the clubs. Must be a certified personal trainer, and one must possess a thorough knowledge of exercise equipment and training principles.
Housekeeper
Keeps the club looking clean and tidy. Each housekeeper is assigned specific tasks to be accomplished on a daily basis.
Group Fitness Instructor
Teaches and motivates members in our group fitness classes. Should be very outgoing and patient, and be able to encourage members from inside the gym to participate in a class. Classes range from Aqua aerobics to Yoga. Certification is required, but in-house mentoring is possible for existing members and employees of other departments.
Maintenance Person
Responsible for all building and equipment repair and record keeping. They are also responsible for all pool, spa and boiler maintenance.
