Cardio & Dance

Cardio classes are designed to raise your heart rate and to get large muscle groups working. Everyone’s level of cardio fitness is different and you will need to listen to your body. If your heart feels as if it is going to jump out of your chest, back off a little.

Please allow yourself to take any class 3 – 5 times to learn the basic movements. Classes without numbers are taught with mixed levels of fitness, allowing modifications for easier and harder options. Step classes marked 1, 2 and 3 denote beginner, intermediate and advanced with BodyStep being a great option for all levels. Always let your instructor know if you are new to a class and if he or she should be aware of any injuries or pregnancy. Water is allowed in class as long as it is in an enclosed container. Towels are available at the front desk for a nominal fee if you forgot to bring one or do not have the towel option on your account.
